Pathaan has smashed records in India and its the same story overseas as the film is possibly looking at a $4.5 million opening day which is far far ahead of anything seen before and pretty much puts the film in line to be the highest grosser ever in overseas in its original format. It will be no surprise if the final overseas number goes higher.
The collections are still coming in but North America will easily close over the $1.5 million mark while the crucial market in Gulf has done the job and it is sure to be over $1 million and its likely in two days that the film will become the highest grossing Hindi film in Gulf post the pandemic.
The worldwide figures for the opening day are over 100 crore and it is the first ever century across the world with worldwide GROSS collections ranging anywhere between 100-110 crore. These numbers are of one SINGLE DAY and not two days of Gulf or other markets where previews are held. ONE GENUINE SINGLE DAY. The overseas clout of Shahrukh khan comes to the fore with the right film and pretty much confirms that Shahrukh Khan is number 1-10 in Overseas and this hsa sbeen the case for more than 25 years now.
